As long as you know that illusions are not the ultimate Dharma, and you are able to turn your mind toward the gate of enlightenment, that is enough. As long as you cleanse the defiled nature of worldly attachments with the water of wisdom and remain pure, that is sufficient. It is enough to cut illusory thoughts in half and never again give rise to a moving mind. There is no need to think about the past or future.
