Mahamati, true meaning is always subtle; moreover, it is quiescent, and is the cause of nirvana. Words and delusions are bound together; and together they wander about in the arena of birth and death. True meaning is apprehended through endless listening. Endless listening leads to the deepening of meaning and not of words. This is described as "endless listening based on meaning."
