Inspired by the traditional Japanese woodworkers’ toolbox, this intriguing design offers a walnut peg sliding locking mechanism. When removed, the lid slides over and can be lifted to reveal the contents therein. In this case, there are 3 metal tins to hold special contents of your choice.
The top has walnut on both sides with alder in the middle and oak forms the walls.
Each board is carefully examined with a mind to conserving materials. All woods are carefully selected from sustainable species. Out of some boards there will be only 1/4 inch unused. Our commitment is to use each piece to its fullest potential, with truly minimal waste, so no two tables are exactly alike.
